Welcome to Autolink 2009, The UK's Premier Automotive Meet-the-Buyer, Collaboration and Technology Event

Returning for the sixth consecutive year, Autolink 2009 comes to Walsall on Tuesday 28th April with a wealth of new opportunities for our attendees. Building on the success of previous years, we have introduced a full meet-the-buyer element to the day, while still offering the chance to meet other companies to discuss collaboration and innovation within the automotive supply chain.

2009 will be a particularly significant year because of the current pressures and threats to the automotive industry. There is, however, one big area of opportunity for the industry. In October 2008 the Government announced £100m funding for a Low Carbon Vehicle Programme to help speed up the production of low carbon vehicles onto Britain’s roads. One of the primary themes of Autolink 2009 will be about the opportunities offered by the Low Carbon Vehicle Programme.

As with previous years, the primary aim of Autolink 2009 is to provide our attendees with new business opportunities. This takes place via the exhibition, conference and seminars, but primarily through the one-to-one meetings. You set up a series of meetings with companies you have an interest in talking to .... and companies that have an interest in talking to you set up meetings with you!

On Previous Autolink Events:

"This was the best day of its kind that I have attended. The venue and facilities were excellent...and most importantly the quality of the face to face meetings. Many good leads were generated - for both buying and selling. The day far exceeded my expectations - Ten out of Ten" Keith Brown, Sales Manager, SPX Contech

"The major point about the Autolink event is that it guaranteed 100% automotive attendees, people who are like minded and looking for new ideas, contacts etc" Adrian Ellis, UK Sales Manager, Profil UK Ltd

"It is not always possible at such a brokerage event to meet the most relevant person in a company, but when this was the case the meeting partner was extremely helpful in signposting. Most of my meetings required follow up actions and present possible future collaboration" Dr. Mark Spratt, Centre for Research in Energy, Waste and the Environment at the Cardiff University School of Engineering
